CWA and IBEW have reached an agreement with Johnson Controls for a 1 year contract extension
( new expiration date, 2/6/2013). This extension includes a 2% across-the-board wage increase effective 2/7/2012. All provisions of the current contract remains in effect except the Health Care costs will be frozen at the 2011 rates at least until 1/1/2013 or possibly the end of bargaining for 2013.
The members will have to ratify this extension. The plan is to get the ballots and explanation mailed on 12/1/2011 and counted on 12/16/2011.
CWA and IBEW, unanimously recommends ratification.
